Academic Program

All of our graduates will have a college career preparation that exceeds all of the University of California class requirements, with emphasis on the development of successful life-long learning habits. This is combined with the application of learned concepts via projects, internships, and multi-cultural experiences.

The key attributes of the school are:

Small School
The school will foster individual attention by remaining small. At full enrollment with grades 6 to 12 there will only be about 420 students.

Project Based Learning
Courses integrate science, math, history and writing into projects to promote deep understanding of core subjects.

Emphasis on the incorporation of all the cultural resources in Los Angeles. Team Focused Learning within cross-year teams led by the best teachers.

Real-time Assessment
Student progress measured day-to-day, always accessible by parents, with one assigned faculty mentor for all grades.
