BIO

WELCOME BACK AVANCE STUDENTS, PARENTS, AND VISITORS.  It is my honor to be back for a 9th year here at Avance as your new Instructional Coach and returning Athletic Director. A lot of good things are already under way:

  • Our newly created Girls Volleyball has already started the Fall Season winning their first ever game and working to improve everyday.
  • Cross country looks to improve on their 2nd(girls varsity) and 3rd (boys varsity) place City finishes
  • Our athletic program received a Donors Choose package worth over $1000 with lots of training and rehab equipment.

GOALS FOR 2017-18

  • Help all faculty continue to grow and excel for the betterment of our students.
  • Have the athletic department raise funds to cover practice shirts, tournaments and some equipment.
  • Create and execute strong systems of organization from the top down for our athletic teams and teaching faculty.
  • Strengthen student-teacher-parent-admin communication throughout the year.

A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I am currently finishing my Masters in Coaching and Athletic Administration at Concordia University in Irvine. I went to UCLA (go Bruins!) for my undergraduate degree and Mt.St. Marys University for my Teaching Credentials. I love all sports but baseball is my favorite (real ball is life). Love Hip Hop music (not to be confused with simple rap). Meal Prep Sundays are my therapy and keep me focused on health goals.
