Aloha and welcome!

Thank you for visiting my page. I am so excited to join the Avance team this year as the Middle School Art and ELD teacher.  I look forward to getting to know my students and their parents as well as doing my very best to provide a safe, fun, and creative learning space.  

A little background about me:  I grew up in Pasadena, California enjoying the diversity of culture and great weather.  My love of exploring and for the outdoors led me to the Hawaiian islands, where I spent almost two decades enjoying island living.  I received a bachelors in Fine Art and French Literature at the University of Hawaii.  It is my passion to be creative and facilitate others on their learning journey.  I look forward to an amazing year!
